Ben Dwyer Successfully Awarded a $0.5m Grant from the FHRIF to Set up an Organoid Hub

The CRT congratulates Dr Ben Dwyer, Scientific Lead in the CRT funded “Defeating Primary Liver Cancer” program and Project Lead on the CRT funded “Australian Centre for RNA Therapeutics in Cancer” (ACRTC) program, on being awarded more than $500,000 from the WA Government’s Future Health Research and Innovation (FHRI) Fund.

The funds will contribute to the upgrading of equipment at the Western Australian Organoid Innovation Hub allowing for the further expansion of organoid research and the enhancement of the technology which will ultimately pave the way for personalised treatment regimes for the treatment of cancer.

The WAOIH will be based at the Curtin Health Innovation Research Institute.
